The Copa King is the second produce of his mare Medicean Bliss to see the racecourse, his half brother Spartakos is the winner of two of his 16 starts to date, and has recorded a best BHA rating of 57. His dam was also the winner of two races, recording a best RPR of 78. The Copa King's sire is Pearl Secret, a son of Compton Place, whose greatest success was when winning the Group 2 Temple Stakes at Haydock in 2015.
