OUR RUNNERS GO HEAD TO HEAD.

We have two declared runners at Market Rasen on Friday, on what is currently described as good ground, and they are watering to maintain.

We will be doubly represented at 3.15.pm, in the 0-105 handicap chase, over the two miles and five furlongs. Beat The Edge who doesn't over exert himself as much as he should when asked to go and win his race, is still a model of consistency, having won once, and finishing second or third on another six occasions from nine starts, since joining us last autumn. Brian Hughes who has finished in the places on him on four previous occasions, will have to be at his most persuasive best to get his head in front again.

The veteran 11 year old Onenightintown is our other runner in the race, and he will be ridden by Alice Stevens who was on board the last time the horse won at Catterick in February of last year, from a 4lb lower mark than now. Onenightintown has failed to match that form in his last eight starts, which has seen his mark slip from 80 to 64, but with him being 15lb out of the weights he will run off 79, a mark he was able to get competitive off in his younger days.

Good luck to the connections, Smartwater Utilities, and The Rat Pack Racing Club.

Beat The Edge.
