We have two runners at Pontefract on Thursday, where the going at the time of writing is good to soft, good in places.

Footonthegas looked very green on his racecourse debut seven days ago, and the experience he gained there, will be further added to here, as he learns what is required. That debut run was over six furlongs, where he found things happening very quickly, and he now takes a significant step up in trip, as he continues his education. He runs at, in the novices stakes over a mile, with Aiden Brookes retaining the ride.

Myboymax ran his best race since winning at Wolverhampton in December, when finishing second at Thirsk 19 days ago, for which he has been nudged up 1lb, but he does remain 11lb below that last winning mark. Myboymax does have placed form on a softer surface, but his overall form suggests that he does prefer faster ground. He goes to post for the 0-68 handicap, over 12 furlongs, at, with his regular partner Aiden Brookes in the saddle.
