The recent signs suggest that the flat horses are also in the form of their lives, with Fiftyshadesaresdev going down by just a length, and Thursday's Child winning at Pontefract, on Monday.
Irv returned from a three months break at Wolverhampton on Tuesday, to demolish the opposition, when coming clear from over one out, to win by three and a quarter lengths under our stable apprentice jockey Aiden Brookes. Irv is at the right end of the handicap, and if in the same mood next time, he will take some beating.
