We sent two down to Wolverhampton on Monday evening, and both ran with great credit. Quoteline Direct looked all over the winner as he led well inside the final furlong, but got caught in the shadows of the post going down by a neck.

Thirty minutes later Dragons Will Rise made it three wins from his last four starts when as at Newcastle previously he travelled sweetly throughout the race, and was clearly going best two out. He didn't win quite as authoritatively as last time, but that is probably down to the sharper track, and slightly shorter distance. Dragons Will Rise is still on an upward curve, and it would be disappointing if he was raised more than 3lb.

A preview of tomorrows runners is now on the website, and our four runners on Wednesday at Musselburgh will be available to read about from midday tomorrow.
