WITCHFORD TO MAKE HER SEASONAL DEBUT.

We send two runners over to Beverley on Tuesday, where the going at the time of writing is good to firm, good in places.

Odd Venture will have his fourth start for us when he goes to post for the 3.45.pm, in the 0-60 handicap over 12 furlongs, with Aiden Brookes taking the ride. Odd Venture has been a shade unlucky in two of those three starts, having been in hampered in running, but his overall form, including his Irish form, suggests he will have to run right up to his very best if he is to take this.

Witchford is lucky to be alive, let alone see a racecourse again. Since she last ran in September she has had a self inflicted life threatening accident, when pulling several inches of skin off both of her forelegs, which now thankfully has healed, and she can continue her racing career. Witchford has shown enough ability in four starts as a two year old to have been given top weight in the 0-55 handicap at 4.45.pm, over 10 furlongs, with Aiden Brookes retaining the ride.
