WE ARE DOUBLY REPRESENTED IN THE PERTH BUMPER ON MONDAY.

We send two of our young bumper horses up to Perth on Monday afternoon to contest the 4.25.pm, over two miles, on going that is described as good at the time of writing, in a race that has only attracted seven runners.

Freddie's Frontier has already had one one run, which came on soft ground at Newcastle back in March of 2020. He led the field that day, using too much energy too soon, and eventually paid the price when weakening quickly from over three out. He has been given plenty of time to mature, and we should see a different horse on this his first start in 541 days. He has four siblings who have all raced over jumps, including the 143 RPR Outlaw Pete, Shawn Quinlan will take the ride.

King Of Unicorns also makes the near 460 miles round trip. This will be his racecourse debut, having been purchased from Godolphin at the Doncaster sales back in May, he is still a full horse. Six of his siblings have raced on the flat including two of which have recorded RPR in excess of 100. His dam was unraced, but his sire Night Of Thunder was the 2000 Guineas winner of 2014. Connor O'Farrell is in the saddle.
