One of the features of this season has been the remarkable consistency of some of our flat horses, and Sparkle In His Eye hasn't let the side down, by winning for the fourth time in his last six starts, under Aiden Brookes, who was winning his fourth race from his last seven rides.
Sparkle In His Eye who was winning for the first time on turf at Musselburgh on Monday evening was sat in midfield until Aiden asked him to go and win the race two out, and thankfully the gaps opened, and Sparkle In His Eye prevailed by a head, to which the handicapper can surely raise him no more than 2lb. There is no reason to think that the winning streak for this horse will not continue.
