SIX RUNNERS AT NEWCASTLE ON TUESDAY.

We have six runners competing in three races, with our first two competitors taking part in the 2.50.pm, a 0-100 novices handicap hurdle over two and a half miles. The seven year old mare Raddle And Hum hasn't had much racing in the last two years and three months since running her best race at Wetherby on Boxing Day 2019 when finishing second off a mark of 102. She has only been seen four times since, the latest in the corresponding race in 2020. She has now dropped to an attractive mark of 98, with this race sure to help her to full fitness, with Billy Garritty in the saddle.

To be a racehorse owner you sure need to be patient, and it's been a long road for Brickadank. He made a satisfactory start in bumper company in December 2019, before tackling good quality opposition in three runs on the flat, for which he now has a handicap mark to use when the time is right. He then had his three runs in maiden, and novice hurdle company, and the handicapper has seen fit to give him a mark of 92, Brian Hughes has been booked for this his handicap hurdle debut.

Our next two runners go head to head in the 3.50.pm, over two miles in the 0-110 handicap hurdle.Great Raffles arrived from France after having two no show runs over hurdles, and a 13 lengths sixth placing on the flat. He made his debut for us when a 36 lengths third in a hot novice hurdle at Wetherby last November, but has disappointed in two handicap hurdles since, his mark has now dropped to 90, and Alain Cawley retains the ride.

We also run Lucou who is now on a very attractive mark of 84, but of course there is a reason for that. When he arrived from France in the summer of 2019, he came with a mark of 121, and has given hope on at least three occasions that a win was in him, but since returning last October he has struggled to get competitive, including in a first time visor at Carlisle last time when finishing a 36 lenghs third to his stable mate Foster'sisland, Billy Garritty will ride him for the first time.

The final two runners are both in the bumper at 4.50.pm.Howzat Hiris will be having his third start having already contested two hot bumpers at Wetherby in December, and January, and will gain further valuable experience for contesting this, Billy Garritty will be in the saddle.

We also run Lady Adare who will be making her racecourse debut under Sean Quinlan, who is, as far as I can recall, riding for us for the first time.Lady Adare has two sisters who both won bumpers, and who both only raced on three occasions, but earned respective Racing Post ratings of 110, and 111.
