Just Paddy's Band made a winning debut at Kelso 204 days ago, then he was turned away for his summer holiday, and he now returns to action on Sunday at 5.15.pm, in the extended two miles bumper, on what looks like being good ground. Just Paddy's Band will have to carry a 7lb penalty, but that will be offset by our new stable conditional jockey Jack Hogan who will claim 7lb.

One of the most exciting prospects in the yard has to be the five year old gelding Just Paddy's Band, he is a son of Sholokhov from the family of Sadlers Wells. His sire was a Group 1 winner in Italy at two, and as a three year old he finished runner up in both the Irish Derby, and Eclipse. He is a proven source of high class national hunt performers including the 177 rated Don Cossack. Just Paddy's Band's dam was tough, winning six of her 25 races between 2010-2014, and earning a best BHA mark of 125, Just Paddy's Band is her second foal.
Just Paddy's Band has raced on one occasion to date, when making a winning debut at Kelso in March in a race for newcomers. He runs in the colours of his illustrious ex stable mate Just Cameron, so has a lot to live up to. TO BE CONTINUED.
