GERYVILLE SHOULD RELISH EVERY YARD.

We send two up to Perth on Friday, where the going at the time of writing remains good to soft, good in places.

Geryville will step up in trip for the first time to the extended three miles and six furlongs, in the 0-130 Class 3 handicap chase at 2.05.pm, with the champion jockey Brian Hughes retaining the ride. Geryville ran a seasonal, and personal best on Boxing Day at Market Rasen when keeping on into second over three furlongs shorter than now, and this extra distance should hold no fears.

Rory And Me was a winner at Market Rasen last June, but he has failed to scale the same heights in his three runs so far this term, which has seen his mark fall to an attractive 99. Rory And Me will appreciate any drying out of the ground, and will have the assistance of the champion jockey Brian Hughes in the saddle for the first time. He goes to post for the 0-105 novices handicap, over two and a half miles at 5.0.pm.
