Congratulations to our stable conditional jockey Josh Thompson, who was winning on his first ride back in over six months, after suffering a bad injury at Catterick last autumn. This win shows he has all the right credentials to get his career back on track, and hopefully this will be the first of many more winners.
Ambassador who was returning from a near six months break himself, was already a three times winner last season, including twice at Uttoxeter, where he added to that tally at that track on Saturday evening, when after racing prominently throughout, he took up the running three out, and only had to be kept up to his work by Josh to record a three and a quarter lengths success.
