TWO RUNNERS AT WOLVERHAMPTON ON MONDAY EVENING.

Quoteline Direct makes a quick reappearance, just four days after making his fibresand debut at Southwell, he never got competitive that day, and came home a well beaten fifth. His ability to handle the Wolverhampton surface is not in doubt, as on three previous visits he has finished second, and third twice. Although this five time winner hasn't got his head in front so far this season, he has run well on his first three starts, finishing third at Beverley, and Catterick in June and July. The race is over 12 furlongs which will suit, and he has a decent draw.P J McDonald who has ridden him on several occasions, but not for over three years takes the ride at 7.50.pm.

Dragons Will Rise continued his upward curve when winning in authoritative fashion at Newcastle in September, when coming home by a length and a half in the hands of Robert Havlin, who was having his first ride for us that evening,he will be back on board for this race at 8.20.pm over the extended nine furlongs, and the draw of stall seven will be no problem, the way he won that evening suggests that the 3lb rise allotted by the handicapper is more than fair. Dragons Will Rise has shown much improved form since his attentions were turned to the All Weather, he has run three times at Newcastle, winning twice, and finishing third on the other occasion, there is no reason to think he will not be just as effective at Wolverhampton.

Good luck to the connections, JFW Properties Ltd, and The Golden Cuckoo.
