PATASOLA TO MAKE NURSERY DEBUT.

We have four runners on Wednesday, with three making the short trip to Catterick, where the going is currently good, and we also send one down to Bath, where the ground is described as good to firm, at the time of writing.

The new nursery season has just got underway, and Patasola who was recently claimed at Beverley, will make her handicap debut at 3.10, over five furlongs, with Aiden Brookes retaining the ride. Patasola has ran twice for us since being claimed, both in decent maiden company, and she will have a more realistic chance here from an opening mark of 55, but this trip does look a bare minimum.

Bonne Vitesse was a comfortable winner from a 4lb lower mark than now, at Ripon on her penultimate start, on a softer surface, which seems to suit her well, but she was a well beaten third when last seen on the all weather at Newcastle, where the race probably wasn't run to suit. She will be more at home in this race, but the draw could have been kinder. She goes to post for the 4.10.pm, in the 0-65 handicap, over the extended one mile and seven furlongs, with Aiden Brookes back in the saddle.

Musicality has raced on seven occasions since arriving at the yard in the spring of last year, but has yet not got competitive, which has seen his mark slide from 77 to his current rating of 52. This trip of seven furlongs is probably his optimum, but it is difficult to get confident until he shows some kind of a return to form. He runs at 5.45.pm, in the 0-60 handicap, with Aiden Brookes retaining the ride.

Our runner down at Bath is The Resdev Way, who will be making his 106th racecourse start when going to post for the 0-55 handicap, over one mile and five furlongs at 6.10.pm, with Alec Voikhansky who claims 5lb, having his first ride for the yard. The Resdev Way was a very good second at Wetherby back in June, but he has failed to get involved on either of his two starts since.
