HOWZAT HIRIS HAS CONDITIONS TO SUIT.

It will be testing on Thursday at Market Rasen, where the going is currently described as soft, heavy in places.

Howzat Hiris was having her first start back in seven months, when making a pleasing return over this course and distance three weeks ago, sticking to her task, and only going down by seven and three quarter lengths, to finish in sixth place. She was a four lengths winner at Newcastle back in March from a 3lb lower mark than now, and a repeat of that will see her go very close. The race is a 0-100 handicap hurdle, over two miles and seven furlongs, with Emma Smith-Chaston taking the ride in place of Josh Thompson, who is still recovering from injury.
