Hala Princess has only raced on four occasions to date, all for another yard.She is the first produce to see a racecourse, of her unraced dam Aroka, who is by the German four times Group 1 winning stallion, Ungaro. Hala Princess' sire is the French stallion Bernebeau, whose best form was around a mile.
Hala Princess has raced solely for the Dan Skelton yard to date, she made her debut at Warwick in November 2019, in a bumper, when finishing seventh of the 16 runners, beaten 14 lengths, with her jockey Harry Skelton reporting she had suffered interference.She next appeared a month later at Catterick, but was never in contention, beaten by 20 lengths, into ninth place, her future stablemate Cockney Beau finished third.
She next made her hurdles debut at Huntingdon in February of this year, over two and a half miles, where she pulled up in heavy ground.She has raced once more to date, at Market Rasen, back at two miles, where she picked up prize money for the first time, but finished a remote forth.
Hala Princess has now joined us at Oakwood Stables, and has her first entry at Southwell next Monday, in a two miles novice hurdle.
