BUNKER BAY RETURNS.

We have one runner on Tuesday at Wolverhampton, where their Tapeta surface is riding as standard.

Bunker Bay was purchased as a dual purpose horse, having already won a race on the flat before making his hurdles debut for us in February 2024. He found life tough in five runs over timber, but if he does fully take to that discipline, then his mark in the lower 80's makes him very well handicapped when judged against his flat rating which has been as high as 72 and now currently stands at 62.

Bunker Bay has run in three flat races for us this year producing his best run on his first start at Southwell in March when finishing a close up fourth from 5lb higher than now, he has since not quite matched that form in two starts with blinkers, which are now discarded, and this race represents a drop in class. Bunker Bay runs at 8.15.pm, in the 0-62 handicap, over one mile and four furlongs, with his regular rider Aiden Brookes in the saddle.
