At the 37th attempt Brickadank finally got his head in front at Market Rasen on Tuesday afternoon, under the champion jockey Brian Hughes. Brickadank was at his very best, racing prominently throughout, jumping impeccably, and clearly enjoying himself, as he stayed on gamely for a head success, from his inform stablemate Onenightintown, who was just as game in defeat. Both horses are a credit to the yard, and also everyone involved in the training and looking after of them.
