IRV RUNS IN THE LADIES DERBY.

We have one runner on Thursday at Ripon, on what is currently described as good going.

Irv will have his 61st racecourse start at 2.05.pm, in the 0-60 'Glendale Agricultural Chemicals Ladies Derby Handicap,' for female amateur riders, over one mile and four furlongs, with Becky Smith who has ridden him nine times previously, and winning on him at Beverley in 2022, back in the saddle.

Irv has been running better of late than his form figures would suggest, particularly at Catterick on his penultimate start, when being denied a clear run at a crucial stage.

Let's hope he can roll back the years.
