YOU LITTLE BEAUTY.

YOU LITTLE BEAUTY. 21 February 2016. Stimulation-Ziefhd. Owner-The Golden Cookoo.

You Little Beauty has recently joined us, having raced exclusively for the Ann Duffield yard to date. She has raced 16 times, once over hurdles and the remainder on the flat, showing a preference for the All Weather. Her Dam was a six, and seven furlong winner, whose best form was achieved as a two, and three year old.Her Sire is from the family of Choisir, and was a Group 2 winner as a three year old over seven furlongs, but could just about see out 10 furlongs at the highest level.

You Little Beauty made her racecourse debut at Wetherby as a two year old in June 2018, when failing to beat a rival home, over seven furlongs. It wasn't until her fifth race at Newcastle in September, running in first time cheek pieces, and from a mark of 49, that she showed there could be a race in her, when finishing a three, and three quarter lengths third, over seven furlongs. She came closest to winning at Newcastle again, in November, when just going down by half a length, from a mark of 46, over six furlongs.

Back on the turf as a three year old, she was a keeping on forth, of 19 at Thirsk, over six furlongs, before stepping up to a mile at Carlisle in June, where she raced keenly, to finish a four lengths forth of 15.Eight days later she stepped up to nine furlongs at Hamilton, only beaten by five and a half lengths, but never getting involved. Her latest run was over jumps at Wetherby in November of last year on soft ground in a Juvenile hurdle, with our very own conditional jockey Emma Smith-Chaston taking the ride, You little Beauty unfortunately bled from the nose, and was subsequently pulled up.
