We have two declared runners at Newcastle on their Tapeta surface, which is currently riding as standard.
Dundory is an eight year old dual purpose performer, who is the winner of six of his 52 flat starts to date, he has also been placed in two of his seven hurdles races as well. Dundory made his stable debut at Newcastle over a further two and a half furlongs than now, when weakening from four out, just under three weeks ago, for which he has been dropped 3lb. He runs at 1.17.pm, in division 1 of the 0-65 handicap, over 10 furlongs, with Aiden Brookes retaining the ride.
Arranmore goes to post for division 2 of the 0-65 handicap at 1.47.pm, over the 10 furlongs, with his regular rider Aiden Brookes in the saddle. Arranmore continues to knock on the door, having gone close on several occasions since joining the yard just over a year ago. He is a seven year old with 58 flat races, including four wins, under his belt, and is now down to a career low mark of 53 following his run at Wolverhampton last time, although only beaten by five and a quarter lengths.
