TWO TO UTTOXETER ON THURSDAY.

The going for Uttoxeter on Thursday is currently described as good.

Milajess has turned into one of the most consistent horses in training. Her recent form figures read '222122' with that much deserved win coming at Sedgefield back in April, for which she was raised 8lb. Her two starts since suggest that the handicapper has her just about in his grip, but her consistence makes her a danger to all. Milajess runs at 4.33.pm, in the 0-100 mares only handicap hurdle, over the extended one mile and seven furlongs, with her regular rider Josh Thompson in the saddle.

Ambassador is a Uttoxeter specialist, having won there on five previous occasions, latterly from 9lb higher than now, but he hasn't been in the same form on each of his last eight starts, including a return to Uttoxeter on his penultimate start. If anything can reactivate Ambassador then it is a return to his favourite track. He runs at 5.05.pm, in the 0-105 handicap hurdle, over the extended one mile and seven furlongs, with Brian Hughes, who has won on him previously, back in the saddle.
