TWO TO MARKET RASEN ON SUNDAY.

Where the going at the time of writing is good to soft, soft in places, and both of our runners would appreciate any drying out of the ground.

Rory And Me has done all of his winning at Market Rasen, winning two bumpers back in 2019, he then showed useful form on the flat, achieving a BHA mark of 74, before being sent hurdling, where he got off the mark in a maiden hurdle at this track last June, on Alain Cawley's last ever ride. In two starts this term Rory And Me has failed to get fully competitive, but on what will hopefully be drying ground, we may see more this time, from a fair mark of 103. The race is a 0-105 handicap hurdle, (Division 1) over the extended two and a half miles at 2.44.pm, with his regular jockey Conor O'Farrell in the saddle.

Royle Steel won a maiden hurdle on his third start at Sedgefield in February of last year, then backed that up with a runners up spot at Newcastle in March. We have seen him three times this term with his best run coming at Catterick on his penultimate start. Either side of that he has been too keen, and has failed to see his race out. On that Catterick run, and those two good efforts from last term, his mark of 103 would see him be competitive. He goes to post for a 0-105 handicap hurdle, (Division 2) over the extended two and a half miles at 3.19.pm, with Conor O'Farrell on board for the first time.
