TWO DECLARED FOR THURSDAY.

We have one runner at Hamilton on Thursday where the going is good, good to soft in places, and one at Redcar where at the time of writing the ground is described as good.

Uccello makes a quick reappearance having finished seventh at Catterick last Saturday, where despite hanging right throughout was still only beaten by nine lengths. Uccello is a quirky character but has shown that the ability is there to win a race on his previous effort at Musselburgh when finishing a close third despite being over keen. If he settles better this time he should be in the shake up, with his regular jockey Andrew Elliott on board again.

Over at Redcar Elena De La Vega will make her handicap debut at 5.45.pm, in a 0-60 handicap over 10 furlongs with Aiden Brookes riding her for the first time. Elena De La Vega has been given an opening mark of 51 after finishing down the field in two hot novice events, and a decent claimer. She finished a 12 lengths fourth on her penultimate start in the claimer which gives hope, but she over raced at Redcar on her latest start, and paid the price by weakening quickly from four out.

Good Luck to the connections, Red & Whites, and Grange Park Racing XV1.
