THREE TO RIPON AND ONE TO CARTMEL ON MONDAY.

The going for Bank Holiday Monday's meeting at Cartmel is good, and they are watering, while at Ripon it is also currently described as good.

Milltown Lily goes to post for the 2.33.pm, at Ripon, which is a 0-55 handicap over the extended nine furlongs, with Andrew Elliott retaining the ride. Milltown Lily continues to be fairly consistent, but she has not improved on her stable debut five runs ago when finishing a very promising fourth at Beverley. She was slightly hampered over this course and distance 16 days ago when keeping on to finish fourth, so she should be closer this time with a clear passage.

Profiles Mix has his third flat start, and will be eligible for a handicap mark after he contests the 4.51.pm, a maiden stakes over the extended nine furlongs with Aiden Brookes retaining the ride. Profiles Mix has shown a modicum of ability in two of his three bumper runs, but has also found his temperament getting the better of him. On his two flat starts he has also proved quirky, and has finished tailed off on both occasions.

Quoteline Direct runs at 5.26.pm, in a 0-65 handicap, over the extended 10 furlongs where he will be ridden for the first time by Amy Hunt, in a novice flat Amateur Jockeys' handicap, for riders who have not ridden more than three winners at the start of the season. Quoteline Direct ran close to his best at Pontefract 26 days ago when finishing a creditable second from 1lb higher than now, so he should be involved in this slightly better contest, over a trip he should just see about out.

Up at Cartmel where they stage their final meeting of their season, we have one runner when Getaway Jewel contests the 2.50.pm, a 0-100 handicap chase over two miles and one furlong, where he will be re-united with the champion jockey Brian Hughes who won on him twice at Market Rasen last month. Getaway Jewel was last seen at Market Rasen 16 days ago when he didn't have the run of the race, in a slowly run event, a run which is worth ignoring. His current mark of 97 looks acceptable on what he has achieved to date.
