STORMIN NORMAN GOES IN SEARCH OF WIN NUMBER SEVEN.

We have one runner on Sunday when Stormin Norman goes to post at Redcar in the 5.10.pm under top weight, in a 0-70 apprentices handicap, with Aiden Brookes in the saddle.

Stormin Norman has run with credit on his last two starts, at Ripon in June he was badly hampered at a crucial time, which probably cost him winning, and at Nottingham on his latest start, he was staying on over 14 furlongs, finishing in fifth, only two and three quarter lengths behind the winner.

At Redcar on Sunday he will once again be tackling one mile and six furlongs, so a fast run race would be to his advantage. The going at the time of writing is good, and it will continue to dry out, but he is effective on a faster surface.
