SPARKLE IN HIS EYE DECLARED FOR WOLVERHAMPTON.

We have one runner on Monday when Sparkle In His Eye goes to post for the 5.30.pm, a 0-60 handicap over seven furlongs, where he will be re-united with Aiden Brookes, who has already won on him twice this season.

From a reduced mark of 52, Sparkle In His Eye struck form with vengeance at Kempton in January, when making all under a well judged ride over a mile from Aiden Brookes. This was backed up two weeks later at Wolverhampton over seven furlongs where after missing the break Sparkle In His Eye still threaded his way through from a 3lb higher mark to win by three parts of a length.

He reappeared just five days later back at Wolverhampton over the extended mile, where he was hampered early on. He soon recovered and came there to hold every chance over one out, but he didn't pick up, with the likely hood that the race had come too soon.

He has since had a 30 day break, and will race from his new mark of 58, from the favourable draw in stall six.
