Two weeks after making all, and winning over a mile at Kempton, Sparkle In His Eye doubled up at Wolverhampton on Monday evening, when after slightly missing the break, he settled in midfield, then had the pace to take up the running inside the final furlong and keep on for a three quarters of a length success from a 3lb rise in the weights, on what was his first ever run over seven furlongs. Once again our apprentice jockey Aiden Brookes showed that he is gaining in experience and confidence all the time, and if he keeps his feet on the ground, anything could be achievable.
