Schiehallion Munro earned his ticket to next months Cheltenham Festival, where he will hopefully line up for the Paddy Power Gold Cup, after putting up a personal best performance when winning the Class 2 0-150 handicap chase at Wetherby on Saturday afternoon. Although only facing three rivals, they were all quality, and they all appeared to run up to near their best. Shiehallion Munro was always close to the pace, and took up the running two out, and sealed a two lengths victory with a good jump at the last, under his now regular pilot Conor O'Farrell. This was Schiehallion Munro's seventh win from just 19 starts, and we look forward to him flying the flag for the north at Cheltenham next month.
