RED SKYE DELIGHT TO RUN AT MUSSELBURGH'S TWILIGHT MEETING.

We have one runner on Saturday evening when the mare Red Skye Delight attempts to make it 24th time lucky. She is declared for the 6.15.pm, a 0-55 handicap over seven furlongs, with Joanna Mason riding her for the first time.

Red Skye Delight has the ability to win a race having finished runner up on four occasions, but she has just lacked that extra change of gear to see her go one place better. She ran one of her better races last time at Hamilton over their extended mile when not giving best until inside the final furlong, this was her best run since a two and a quarter lengths second at Wolverhampton, also over an extended mile back in January when ridden by Hollie Doyle. Her previous form suggests that this seven furlongs, and the predicted good ground should be no problem, as she races from a mark of 45 this time.
