PIECEDERISISTANCE DECLARED FOR PONTEFRACT.

We take too to Pontefract on Sunday, where the going is currently described as good to soft, soft in places.

Piecederisistance is now 5lb below his last winning mark, which was achieved over this course and distance in this corresponding race last year, which was then run on good to firm ground. Piecederisistance has enough form from his days in France, and also from his jumping exploits, to suggest that this softer surface will be okay. He runs at 3.25.pm, in the 0-85 handicap over 10 furlongs, with P J McDonald on board for the first time.

Magnolia Hawks is our other representative at 4.0.pm, in the one mile maiden stakes, where she will once again be partnered by Aiden Brookes. Magnolia Hawks made her racecourse debut at Beverley nearly six weeks ago, when finishing sixth on soft ground. She is bound to come on for that run, in what looks another competitive maiden event.
