ONE RUNNER ON THE ALL WEATHER ON THURSDAY.

We have declared Ex S'Elance, Great Raffles, Kildrum, and The Very Thing for Wetherby on Thursday, but the prospects of the meeting going ahead look odds against at the the time of writing. If we are lucky enough to get the go ahead, then a preview of the horses chances will appear on the website 'NEWS' page.

Thankfully there should be no problems on the all weather at Newcastle where Just Jean makes her fifth visit to the track, in the extended one mile and four furlongs 0-65 handicap, with our stable apprentice Aiden Brookes retaining the ride. Just Jean has been a very frustrating character, we know she has the ability to win a race, but like many fillies she doesn't always put her best hoof forward. Even on her last run 13 days ago at Newcastle over 10 furlongs she was only beaten six and a quarter lengths, despite having to run wide from a bad draw. As I have written here before, if she could run anywhere near her debut at Ripon back in June 2019, then her current mark of 45 would look very attractive.

Good luck to the connections, Mr and Mrs Paul Chapman.
