ONE RUNNER ON SATURDAY AT NEWCASTLE'S PRESTIGIOUS EIDER MEETING.

Trouble Shooter will be our only representative on Saturday when he goes to post for the 5.0.pm at Newcastle, a 0-100 Conditional Jockeys handicap hurdle over two miles, with Emma Smith-Chaston retaining the ride.

Trouble Shooter won five races on the flat back in 2019 when trained elsewhere, but in eight starts over the jumps, and on the flat since joining us in the summer of last year, he failed to get competitive. That was until his latest start at Catterick 22 days ago when finishing a creditable runner up over their extended two miles and three furlongs, for which his mark remains unchanged. This drop down in trip on a stiffer track will probably be to his advantage, and he is proven on the good to soft predicted going description.
