NO PROBLEMS AT DONCASTER, WHERE WE HAVE ONE RUNNER.

It's been a very frustrating last few days, with the loss of Kelso,Catterick, and Wetherby, but jump racing should resume in Yorkshire on Friday at Doncaster, We don't have a runner at that meetings first day, but we are represented by Enfin Phil on Saturday.

Enfin Phil has been declared for the 12.55.pm, a competitive looking 16 runner 0-120 handicap hurdle over two miles and three furlongs, with Alain Cawley riding him for the first time this season. Alain was on him when they made all at Catterick just over a year ago, but the horse hasn't been in the same form since. He returned to Catterick three weeks after that win, but failed to stay the extended three miles and one furlong, and after his summer break, he returned at Sedgefield last October, where he was entitled to need the run. His last two runs have both been at Wetherby, where he finished sixth, at the end of October, and last time out in November Billy Garritty pulled him up, reporting that the horse had a breathing problem. On his day Enfin Phil is more than capable, although the handicapper is taking his time to drop him in the weights, as he still remains 2lb above his last winning mark.
