MYBOYMAX IN SIGNIFICANT STEP UP IN TRIP.

We have one runner on Sunday when Myboymax makes the trip to Scotland to contest the 4.45.pm at Musselburgh, a 0-65 handicap over one mile and six furlongs, with Aiden Brookes who has ridden him on all of his five previous starts for us retaining the ride.

Myboymax was a winner over 10 furlongs at Yarmouth in July, and then followed up 10 days later over 12 furlongs at Catterick. His latest start was at Thirsk from a 6lb, and 13lb higher marks than those two successes, where after being prominent all the way round, he hung to his left and couldn't get a clear run inside the final furlong, but he was staying on again at the finish. That race saw him race from a mark of 61, but he must now race from his reassessed mark of 64. Sunday's race sees him step up in trip, and there is no reason to think he wont see it out. The going at the time of writing is good, good to soft in places, he has never run on a surface with soft in the description, but Musselburgh is a track that does dry out quickly.

Good luck to the connections, Anthony Bithell.
