MONACO RULES TO MAKE BRITISH DEBUT.

We will be doubly represented at Haydock on Wednesday, where the going is currently described as heavy, soft in places.

Fainche will have her second start of the campaign at 12.40.pm, in the 0-110 conditional jockeys handicap hurdle, over three miles, with Josh Thompson on board for the first time. Fainche needed her first run back last season, and it was a similar story at Hexham 26 days ago, where she weakened from two out. She was the model of consistency last season, and with her mark reduced by 2lb, and Josh able to claim a further 3lb for riding for his stable, she should be competitive on this more suitable ground.

The four year old gelding Monaco Rules, who is the winner of three flat races and a hurdle race when trained in France, makes his yard debut at 2.15.pm, in the extended one mile and seven furlongs £30,000 'introductory' hurdle, where he will be partnered by Brian Hughes. Monaco Rules who was a winner on his latest start on his hurdles debut at Cholet in early October, faces five opponents who all also won last time out, in what looks a classy race on paper, and probably will be.

Good luck to the connections, In 4 A Grand, and John Burnett.
