We have one runner on Thursday at Newcastle on the all weather, when Milltown Lily goes to post for the 2.10.pm, a 0-55 apprentice handicap over 12 furlongs, with Aiden Brookes on board for the first time.
Milltown Lily looked a surefire future winner when finishing a close up fourth at Beverley on her stable debut in June of last year, after arriving from Ireland in the spring, but following a couple more solid efforts, her form began to regress. She has also had two attempts over hurdles at the back end of last year, where she didn't look a natural jumper. This will be her first attempt at this trip for us, but she did run at this distance on one occasion when trained in Ireland.
