MANDEGA MAKES THE TRIP TO AYR.

We have one runner on Monday, when the ex French gelding Mandega makes the trip up to Scotland to contest the 0-75, 10 furlongs handicap at Ayr, with Aiden Brookes retaining the ride.

When trained in France Mandega raced on 28 occasions, and won on three of those runs, in what has been a consistent career as he has also been placed on a further 11 occasions. He made his British debut for us at Chester 17 days ago, where after racing prominently he weakened from two out to finish a eight and a quarter lengths fifth, for which he has been dropped 3lb. Mandega is no stranger to soft ground, so the expected underfoot conditions should be to his liking.

Good luck to the connections, Samuel Sutton.
