We have one runner on Wednesday when Late Date who was a winner at the track back in April 2017 goes to post for the 8.40.pm, a 0-100 conditional jockeys handicap hurdle over two miles and four furlongs, with Jack Hogan taking off a very generous 10lb.
The going at Perth at the time of writing is good and that will present no problem to Late Date, but the significant drop down in trip is something he hasn't tackled since finishing third at Newcastle in March 2017. He was a winner at Catterick on New Years Day over three miles, off 1lb lower than now, but he has failed to get competitive since in three starts all over three mile plus.
