Larry Looby duly completed his hat-trick at Cartmel on Monday afternoon under Emma Smith-Chaston who had also been in the saddle on both previous winning occasions, when comfortably beating his two rivals by six and a half lengths, and a head. I remember comparing Larry Looby's jumping at this track last time favourably with our course specialist of a few years ago Alderbrook Lad, and what I saw again this time did nothing to change my mind.

Around Cartmel Larry Looby is a big bold fearless jumper, and that was once again a decisive factor to the ease he once again put his rivals to the sword. I would imagine another 6lb rise in the weights is in the offing, but I wouldn't want to bet against him completing the four timer.
