Since arriving at the yard last October, Justus has now run on six occasions, and is the winner of three of them, once over hurdles on New Years Day, and now twice on the flat, doubling up from Pontefract earlier on in April.
Justus who was winning at Ripon on Saturday evening, looked as if he needed every yard of the two miles, as under a strong ride from Aiden Brookes he stayed on well to wear down the runner up and win by half a length, and once again the handicapper shouldn't raise him more than 3lb, so further success could be on the cards.
