JUSTFORJAMES, MAISON D'OR, AND SINCERLY RESDEV, DECLARED FOR TUESDAY.

The ground continues to dry out, and at the time of writing the predicted going for Catterick on Tuesday is soft, good to soft in places, which will suit all three of our runners, but we wouldn't want it to dry out too much more.

Justforjames is first up in the 0-120 handicap chase, over the extended three miles and one furlong at 2.0.pm. He makes a quick return to the track having finished a slightly disappointing fifth over course and distance 14 days ago, this was after a very promising seasonal debut at the track back in November. Justforjames is a previous winner here at Catterick, but he still remains 1lb above his last winning mark from February 2019. At 12 years old he is now at the veteran stage, but this race looks less competitive than that last one, Alain Cawley retains the ride.

Maison D'Or is also a previous Catterick winner, and he takes his chance in the extended three miles and one furlong 0-110 handicap hurdle at 2.30.pm, with Alain Cawley taking the ride. Maison D'or can normally be relied upon to run his race around Catterick, but put in a rare below par performance when last seen there in December, with the race possibly coming too soon.He is probably handicapped up to his best, and remains 4lb above his last winning mark, but there is no reason to think he won't be involved again.

Sincerly Resdev has been an excellent acquisition since joining the yard last October. He has raced for us on three occasions, winning on stable debut at Sedgefield in November, and then not quite running to the same level, again at Sedgefield, in December, when finishing sixth. His last run at Catterick was an excellent third over a trip which proved to be on the short side. This step back up to two miles and three furlongs will be a big plus. Aiden Macdonald who has ridden him on all of his starts for us, retains the ride at 3.30.pm.
