The current Champion jockey Brian Hughes completed a treble at Sedgefield on Friday afternoon when coming home an 18 lengths winner on Getaway Jewel, but that doesn't tell the whole story, as his main rival Placedela Concorde was two lengths in front when coming down at the last. Hopefully the handicapper wont over react, but he should be able to compete in the same grade next time.

Getaway Jewel has been very consistent for us since arriving from Ireland in October of last year, finishing in the frame in all of his last four runs, between two, to two and a half miles, and it was at Brian Hughes suggestion that we dropped him back to the minimum distance. Congratulations to the connections, MKjp Racing.
