There has been some rain which has seen the predicted going for Perth on Thursday ease to good, good to soft in places at the time of writing.

Furax will go to post for the, a 0-105 handicap chase over the two and a half miles, with Jack Hogan retaining the ride. Furax won, and was placed both over hurdles and fences in his native France, but has struggled to find any form in both disciplines since joining us in five starts. He had one run for us over hurdles in February 2021, but was then injured and had to miss the next 11 months. At Newcastle in January he made no show, before being sent chasing for all of his last three starts. He arrived in the UK with a mark of 127, and on Thursday will race off just 95.
