EX S'ELANCE 4/1 WINNER!!!!!!!

One of racing's most used cliches is 'It's been a long time between drinks,' and that certainly springs to mind in the case of Ex S'Elance. It has been 22 months and 13 races since he last tasted success at Newcastle in April 2019, but the combination of heavy ground and a very generous handicap mark, plus a confident ride from our stable conditional jockey Aiden Macdonald, taking off a further 10lb, did the trick. as he won for the fifth time in his career at Catterick on Friday afternoon.
