CREATIVE MOJO DROPS INTO SELLING COMPANY.

Creative Mojo is our one representative at Beverley on Tuesday, when she contests the 0-55 selling handicap over one mile and four furlongs, with our stable apprentice Aiden Brookes riding her for the first time.Creative Mojo is now undoubtedly well handicapped racing from an all time low mark of 50, but she has failed to show any worthwhile form in any of her last five starts, including twice for her previous yard in Ireland, and on all three runs for us. There has to be a doubt about the likely good to firm surface, as all her best form was achieved on soft or heavy, and stamina is also an issue, as she has never run beyond 10 furlongs.

CREATIVE MOJO 15 February 2018. Marcal-Zebgrey. Owner-Maybe The Last Time.

Creative Mojo is a three year old filly who has raced on 10 occasions to date, eight times as a two year old, when trained in Ireland by A. Oliver. Her dam Zebgrey, as the name suggests, is by Zebedee, and raced on 23 occasions, winning twice, with her best trip appearing to be a mile. Her sire is Marcel, who only ran four times, but was the winner of the 2015 Racing Post Trophy.

Creative Mojo made her debut in June 2020 over seven furlongs at Roscommon in a two year old maiden, she beat just one home, with the jockey reporting that she was very green coming out of the stalls. She was better on her second start at the Curragh in July, finishing eighth, beaten by 12 lengths. It was back to the Curragh in August where she never got involved, but was now eligible for a handicap mark.

She made her nursery debut in heavy ground at Killarney 12 days later from an opening mark of 63, and she stayed on to be a promising runner up, going down by two lengths, over a mile.It was another 15 days before she reappeared at Down Royal, stepping down a furlong, and staying on at one pace to finish a slightly disappointing sixth, beaten by five and a quarter lengths. She wore first time cheek pieces for her next start in September at Tipperary, and this time she was staying on over the extended seven furlongs, to once again fill the runners up spot. She would race on two more occasions, in September, and October, at the Curragh, and at Gowran Park, finishing well down the field on both starts.
