CARRIGEEN CASTLE RETURNS.

We have two runners on Wednesday. At Bangor over the jumps where the going on the chase course is currently described as soft, good to soft in places, and on the all weather at Southwell for their evening meeting.

Carrigeen Castle was the winner of three chases last season, starting out from a very handy mark of 94, he in now rated 118, and although a lot higher in the handicap, he remains with a progressive profile. Carrigeen Castle runs in the first at Bangor at 12.25.pm, in the 0-130 handicap chase, over two miles and four furlongs, where he will be partnered by his regular rider Brian Hughes.

Fiftyshadesaresdev finished runner up for the fourth time when finishing second at Southwell over this trip 34 days ago, for which he has been nudged up 1lb. Fiftyshadesaresdev can be considered a little unlucky that day as he was bumped when making his move from over two out, but he then stayed on to the line. He runs at 6.30.pm, in the 0-58 handicap, over 12 furlongs, with Joanna Mason retaining the ride.
