We have one runner on Saturday at Thirsk, where the ground is currently described as good to firm, good in places.
Carnival Zain who is a dual course and distance winner, made a very pleasing seasonal debut at this track two weeks ago, when after having to race wide from a wide draw, still only got beat by one and a half lengths into fourth, on what was his first start in just over five months. He has been dropped a 1lb for that run, and now finds himself in the much more favourable stall of 2, which will suit his prominent style of racing.
Carnival Zain goes to post for the 0-75 handicap, over one mile, at 5.05.pm, with Aiden Brookes retaining the ride.
