CAN LARRY LOOBY MAKE IT FOUR IN A ROW.

It's a very happy welcome back to Sedgefield on Wednesday evening when they kick off their new season with the traditional ladies evening. The going is currently described as good, good to firm in places, and they have been watering.

We have just the one runner who is Larry Looby who goes to post for the 7.20.pm, a 0-120 handicap over just short of three miles and three furlongs, with Emma Smith-Chaston who has won on him on all of his three previous starts retaining the ride.

Larry Looby's jumping around Cartmel on his last two starts has been nothing short of spectacular at times, and his winning spree has seen him climb 25lb in the weights, but there is every chance that the handicapper hasn't got to him yet. This will be the fastest surface he has yet encountered, but he has won a point to point on good ground in Ireland, and the going was good at Cartmel last time.
