Catterick stage their final flat meeting of 2020 on Tuesday before the start of their jumps season next month. It looks as if the ground will be very testing, where at the time of writing it is soft, heavy in places.

Burnage Boy is our only runner on the card in the race with Harrison Shaw taking the ride. The race is over the extended one mile and seven furlongs, and this is a significant step up in trip.He has raced on three occasions so far this flat season, lately at Newcastle 29 days ago over 10 furlongs on the All Weather when finishing eighth of the 10 runners, but only being beaten by five and a half lengths.Whether this extra distance will bring about improvement only time will tell, but the race will put him spot on for a return to hurdling in the none too distant future.

Good luck to the connections, JFW Properties Ltd.
